ARCHANA CHITNIS
Vilas Chitnis graduated from Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai in 1962. He further
pursued his Master’s in Tropical Architecture at the prestigious Architectural Association
School of Architecture (AA School), London.From 1963 to 1967, he gained international
experience working with Michael Lyell Associates, England. During this period, he also
developed a specialization in CKD (Complete Knock Down) furniture design for export,
contributing to the early evolution of modular and export-ready furniture solutions. He
continues to inspire the firm with his global vision and legacy of design excellence.
Anirudha Chitnis graduated from Sir J.J.College of Architecture, Mumbai in 1995 and is an
Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Architects. He began his career at Prakash
Mankar Associates, where he worked on major hospitality interior projects in Mumbai. Since
joining Chitsons in 1996, he has led the design and execution of numerous high-profile
hospitality and commercial projects, driving the firm's evolution with a modern, design-driven
approach. And now as director of Chitsons Design Spaces Private Limited, is actively
involved in the technical development of projects.
Archana Chitnis graduated from L.S. Raheja School of Architecture in 1996. She began her
professional journey with Bharat Shetty Architects, gaining valuable experience on
hospitality and residential projects. Since joining CDSPL in 1999, she has been an integral
part of the firm, contributing to a diverse range of design projects with her keen architectural
insight and dedication to quality. She is the key person for all quality controls.
